Your Away Message Beats My Class

Well, I should rephrase. Checking your away message beats my going to class. And I suppose Frosted Mini-Wheats play a pivotal role in the matter, as well. In actuality, your away message is usually pretty terrible.

I've also noticed a pattern in the awfulness of away messages. If you're like me, you have almost 200 buddies on your list, none of whom you actually talk to. If you're also like me, you organize them into subgroups, such as "A List Buddies," "B List Buddies," etc. Well, as you might have guessed, the farther down on the list you go, the worse and worse the away messages and profiles are. It's quite an interesting phenomena. Maybe I'll write a book about it. It'd be called "Your Away Message Sucks: An Impartial Study on Why We Make Bad Away Messages."
